‘An indigo journey’ talk

This talk by Luisa Uribe will takes the audience through more than 10 years of dyeing, learning and working with indigo. From her apprenticeship in Vietnam, her time  learning about traditional textiles in Japan, through learning local techniques in India and finally building an indigo garden in the UK. Various dates:

Indigo Blue Exhibition 2020, Tokushima, Japan

‘Curious’ a series of sculptures by Luisa Uribe will be on display at the ‘Indigo Blue Exhibition 2020’ (藍色展2020) alongside other local and international indigo artists. The exhibition, organised by the Tokushima Prefectural Government will run at the following dates:

Indigo Masterclass, Gran Canaria, Spain

Luisa will be running an indigo workshop in the beautiful island of Gran Canaria focusing on indigo from seed to dye. Participants will learn how to make an organic indigo vat as well as to paint with indigo pigment on fabric.
